چکیده
This study investigated the bending moment resistance of T-type, two-pin dowel joints connected with Scotch pine (Pinus slyvestris), beech (Fagus orientalis), chestnut (Castanea sativa) and oak (Quercus petraea) reinforced basalt glass woven fabric. The tests was carried out to determine joints. As a result test, it determined that one layer two surfaces reinforce fiber fabrics increases mechanical performance furniture fasteners according obtained data from conducted on pin test samples prepared wooden give higher values than wooden. showed joining 13 % dowel, 32 43 (for resistance), respectively. According by fabrics. highest value in specimens fabric, lowest not (Control). In general, wood species 3 %, fabric types 72 have been effects results tests.

متن کاملImpact Damage in Woven Fabric Reinforced Composites
INTRODUCTION Very often, woven fabrics are used as the reinforcement in advanced composite materials. Although the resulting inplane stiffness is lower than of their unidirectional counterparts, the excellent drapability of these materials eases the production of more general doubly curved components. In addition, the inherently low out-of-plane strength of these layered materials improves due ...
متن کاملInvestigation of Mode I Delamination Resistance in Inter-ply and Intra-ply Hybrid Composites Reinforced with Basalt/Nylon Woven Fabrics
Due to their sensitivity to impact-induced delamination, woven fabric reinforced polymer composites have limited practical applications. Hybridization of polymer composites has been proposed as a solution to this problem. In this study, the effects of fiber reinforcement type, hybridization method, plies stacking sequence and loading rate on mode I delamination behavior of pure basalt, pure nyl...
متن کاملCreep Behavior of Basalt and Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composites
The creep behavior of basalt fiber reinforced epoxy (BFRE) and glass fiber reinforced epoxy (GFRE) composites was studied through tensile testing at high temperature. To study the effect of reinforcing epoxy, the micro glass powder (MGP) was added at various volume percentage into the epoxy resin in BFRE composites. The initial strain for all the specimens were evaluated and compared with each ...
متن کاملModelling the Distortions of Skewed Woven Fabric Reinforced Composites
INTRODUCTION Woven textile structures are often used as reinforcements in composite materials. Their ease of handling, low fabrication cost, good stability, balanced properties, and excellent formability make the use of Woven Fabrics (WF) very attractive for structural applications in, for example, the automotive and aerospace industry. However, due to the process of draping the fibre orientati...
